Gina DeLisio

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Gina DeLisio attended Boston University from 2008 to 2014 where she received a combined Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist at Complete Wellness, Gina is committed to providing comprehensive, well-rounded, and individually tailored care for patients with orthopedic injuries and chronic pain.

Gina’s interest in physical rehabilitation and sports medicine began in high school where she suffered multiple orthopedic injuries while participating in sports. Through various clinical affiliations, Gina has gained experience in a variety of areas in the field including post-surgical orthopedics, sports medicine, and neurological rehabilitation in stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury patients before finally pursuing her passion for outpatient orthopedics. Her wide-ranging experience in the field allowed her to refine her skills in patient-centered care, and her top priority is to create individualized treatment programs based on each and every patient’s personal goals and abilities.

Wanda Hughes

Assistant Therapist/Exercise Specialist

Ms. Hughes is the assistant therapist and therapeutic exercise specialist at Complete Wellness. With over 10 years of experience in health and wellness exercise, she has the knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment necessary to help New York City residents who are experiencing musculoskeletal conditions or injuries.

Ms. Hughes’s specialty lies in designing and assessing health and fitness programs for those undergoing physical therapy. To further benefit her patients, she continually expands her knowledge by taking advanced education and training courses

Jan Stritzler, MA

Corrective Yoga and Exercise Instructor

Embodying the Complete Wellness philosophy of delivering all-natural exercise and therapies for those seeking complete holistic health, Ms. Stritzler brings her lifelong study of maximizing the body’s health and performance by teaching exercise and yoga in the practice. With over 25 years of experience, she has a rare passion for infusing an appreciation of healthy living into her students.

Ms. Stritzler earned her bachelor’s degree in dance and psychology before going on to receive her master’s degree in exercise physiology from Columbia University.

Masae Shimomoto

Massage Therapist

Masae Shimomoto attended Swedish Institute and received a degree of Associate in Occupational studies, and received her NYS massage license in 2009. She now has been a massage therapist for 7 years. She specializes in Swedish massage, Myofascial release therapy, Trigger Points manual therapy, Thai massage and Ortho Bionomy ®.

She is always seeking the best way to understand the human body and helping her clients ease from their pain. She uses her Buddhist philosophy to create her clients to create body-mind-spirit healing experience. She wishes to change the world by healing one client at a time for the better and empowering her clients through her hands.

Carlos Acre

Licensed Massage Therapist

Carlos Arce Jr has been working as a NY Licensed Massage Therapist for the last 9 years. He graduated from the Swedish Institute in 2006. As a practitioner he has worked with chiropractor’s, physical therapist, acupuncturist, and personal trainers in a medical office setting throughout his career. He has also worked in many spas in NYC. His main techniques involve deep tissue, myofascial release, sports and pre-natal massage. Last year he was invited to the 2015 US Open in which he worked exclusively with the athletes and now is on the US Open massage therapist team.
